Helen Elaine Bone

Helen Elaine Bone, age 78, of Vandalia, passed away on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025 at Integrity of Cobden in Cobden, Ill.

She was born on Oct. 25, 1947 to Henry and Ollie Bell (Jackson) Elder in Vandalia, Ill.

Helen was a homemaker and loved listening to Classic Country Music and she loved to sing and dance.

Survivors include her children, Tina (Bone) Mullenix, husband, Chad and Tony Bone (Dawn Brashear); four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews; sister, Mary Willing; and brother, LeRoy (Judy) Elder.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Thelma Tornai, Alvey Elder, Eilene Chapman, Shirley Fulton, Betty June Elder, and Junior Elder.

No services will be held at this time.

The cremation of Helen Elaine Bone will be personally handled by the staff of Crain Funeral Home.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
