Homer U. Grimm
Homer U. Grimm, 92, of Villa Ridge, went peacefully to be with the Lord, his wife, mother, father and siblings on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born on Sept. 16, 1929, in Letart, W. Va., the son of George Alton and Virginia Roush Grimm.
He married Esther Bohannon Grimm in Norfolk, Va.
Mr. Grimm is survived by one son, Gary (Beverly) Grimm of Columbiana, Ohio; one daughter, Pam (Darin) Morris of Villa Ridge; grandchildren Gerard (Chelsea) Grimm, Stephen Grimm, Kacey (Colt) Garrett and Jared Morris; great-grandchildren Gibson Grimm, Sullivan Grimm and Charli Ray Garrett; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; three brothers, Thomas Grimm, William Grimm and George (Lenoard) Grimm; and two sisters, Rebecca Talkington and Leota Folger.
Mr. Grimm attended the Anna Church of the Nazarene, where he served in many capacities, both at the district and local levels.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, woodworking and metal fabrication.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Private graveside services will be held for the family. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery.
