Jeffrey Edward Dickey

Jeffrey Edward Dickey, 49, of Anna, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024, at Deaconess Union County Hospital in Anna. 

He was born on Nov. 21, 1975, in Springfield, the son of Willis Leon Dickey, Sr. and Linda Barrigear Dickey. 

He was a resident of Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center in Anna.

He is survived by two brothers, Willis Leon Dickey and wife Michelle of Stonington and Eugene Dickey of Pana; and a sister, Linda Kay Dickey of Decatur. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, two nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He loved playing video games and enjoyed spending time with his family. Jeff was one awesome brother. He loved the staff at the facility and they loved him. We would like to thank them for their loving and caring support. He will be missed by everyone.

Jeffrey Edward Dickey will be cremated and laid to rest with his parents at Decatur Township Cemetery (Greenwood) in Decatur.
