Jerry Heidlebaugh

Jerry Heidlebaugh 82, of Alto Pass, Ill., died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Mo.

Jerry was born on April 29, 1943, the son of Maxine Hummel and Arley Heidlebaugh in Hindsboro, Ill.

He is preceded in death by both parents and his wife Suzanne.

Jerry is survived by his children, Laura, Barbara, Robert and Kenneth, 3 grandchildren, and 4 sisters.

Jerry was a mechanic and worked at Voglar Ford in Carbondale for many years until he retired. He was also an avid hunter, fisherman, woodworker, and gunsmith. 

He attended the Southern Range Cowboy Church. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

No services will be held at this time.

The cremation of Jerry Heidlebaugh will be personally handled by the staff of Crain Funeral Home.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna, Illinois is in charge of arrangements
