John Peter Grimm

John Peter Grimm, 61, of Buncombe, died at 11:35 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born on Oct. 22, 1954, in Toronoto, Canada, the son of Noel and May Jo Beasley Grimm.

He married Kathy Trexler on Jan. 8, 2016, in Vienna.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Grimm of Buncombe; a son, Nicholas Grimm of Carbondale; a daughter, Katy (Craig) Harness of Kansas; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He worked as a laborer for 27 years. The family thanked Kevin and Michelle Starr and the Cape First Church for their support during his illness.

Services for Mr. Grimm will be held privately for the family.
