Judith A. Mendenhall
Judith A. Mendenhall, 84, of Beaver Dam, Wis., and formerly of Olive Branch, died at 11:20 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam, Wis.
She was born on Aug. 1, 1937, in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Fred and Mary Powless Ward.
She and Lowell worked for over 50 years bending glass tubes into unique designs for the Mt. Vernon Neon Sign Company to use for the manufacture of many beer and other neon advertisements across the Midwest.
She was an avid gardener with an amazing knack for growing tomatoes. She attended the Union Church in Villa Ridge, where she enjoyed cooking for the congregation.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Lowell; a daughter, Mandy (Kenny) Cain; a granddaughter, Erin Railsback; a grandson, Casey Cain (Stephanie); and great-grandchildren Silas Railsback, Darby, Charlotte and Fred Cain.
Graveside funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Mt. Vernon. The Rev. Larry Buckles officiated. Interment followed.
