Julia ‘Judy’ Bryant

Julia “Judy” Bryant, 81, of Tamms, died at 8:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2022, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Jan. 19, 1941, in Fayville, the daughter of Ralph and Gertrude Bishop Burns.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Burns and Gertrude Keelin; brothers Arthur, Russell and Edward “Eddie” Burns; and  a sister, Faye Light. 

Survivors include her husband, Teddy Bryant; daughters Deanna (Simon) McGuckin and Teresa (Anthony) Ippolito; a brother, David (Karen) Keelin; a sister, Juanita Parnell; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are scheuled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms. Interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes.

Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
