Julia Eleanor Hazzard

Julia Eleanor Hazzard, 96, of Benton, died Friday, Aug.26, 2022, at Benton Rehab.

She was born on June 6, 1926, the daughter of Harry L. and Callie S. Hazzard. 

She was a Presbyterian minister throughout the later years of her life. 

Survivors include her cousins, Greg Taake of Ullin and Janet Taake of Williamsburg, Va.; as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Callie. 

She was laid to rest next to her parents at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge on Wednesday, Aug. 31.

Crain Funeral Home in Ullin was in charge of arrangements.
