June Brothers

June M. Brothers of Creston, Ohio, and formerly of Wolf Lake and Lemoore, Calif., daughter of the late William and Norah Keeble Morris, was born on June 2, 1925, in Wheeling, W. Va., and died Oct. 14, 2022, at the age of 97 after a short illness. 

She retired at the age of 78. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Carroll P. Foster VFW Post No. 3445 in Anna. She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening and loved being with her family.

Surviving are her children, William Stephen (Joanie) Brothers of Creston, Ohio, with whom she made her home, and Sharon A. Harward of Cobden; grandchildren Joette L. (Timothy) Cochran of Cleveland, Ga., Wendy S. Brothers of Medina, Ohio, and Robert M. Brothers II of Ava; great-grandchildren Daniel Brothers of Cobden, Jonathan Brothers of Charleston, S.C., Teagan O. Desch of Jax Beach, Fla., and Dakota Brothers of Eustace, Texas. 

She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Morris Brothers, James Michael Brothers and Tommy Lee Brothers; a grandson, Christopher Scott Brothers; and a sister, Jacqueline N. Goodman.

A private family service will be held in Jonesboro. Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.
