Kathleen Elaine Horne

Kathleen Elaine Horne, 71, of Carbondale, went to her eternal rest on Friday, Jan. 13,  2023, at her home after a short illness. 

She was born on Feb. 18, 1951, in Avon, the daughter of Richard Irvin Horn Sr. and Harriett Rose Jennings.

She was professionally a bookkeeper, banker, loan officer, housekeeper and assistant. She was a kind soul who enjoyed her congregation, helping others and was a truly dedicated pet parent. 

She is survived by her mother and one brother, Richard Irvin Horn Jr. of Gilbert, Ariz.; and two nieces, Stephanie Veronica Rose Horn Hannah and Alecia Rebecca Horn of Ventura, Calif. 

She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Christine Marie Siebersma, of Moline.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. A life celebration service is planned for a later date.
