Kenneth Allen Luebke

Kenneth Allen Luebke, 70, of Anna, passed on Jan. 30, 2022, in Marion from complications of COVID. 

He was born in Des Plaines on March 19, 1951, the son of Earl and Lucille Lindemann Luebke. 

He married Terry Wright on March 5, 1983, in Herrin.

Mr. Luebke is survived by his wife, Terry Luebke of Anna; children April Ahrens, Paul Suits, Dawn Luebke and Brett Luebke; grandchildren Kayla Burton, Jakub Stokes, Kennan Stokes, Chenoa Suits, Brianna Suits, Cheyenne Suits and Dakota Hetherington; great-grandchildren Jaden and Reeselyn Stokes, Franklin and Kenai Hetherington; two sisters, Bonnie Dotson and JoEllen (Keith) Weingert; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a nephew, Kyle Dotson. 

Mr. Luebke worked with ITT Industries in Morton Grove as a supervisor until he retired in 2001. 

He was a talented carpenter and built the beautiful home in which he and his wife Terry resided in the countryside of the small town of Anna. 

He loved anything outdoors, from camping, boating, fishing and hunting. Most days you could find him outside in his grill shack cooking up the best grilled or smoked meals around. Kenny (A.K.A Papa, the man, the myth, the legend) you will be sorely missed. 

Mr. Luebke requested no funeral services. Memorials can be made to the Luebke family. Memorial contributions can be mailed to Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home, P.O. 633, Anna, Ill. 62906.
