Kenny Masterson, 74, of Olive Branch, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born on Jan. 7, 1947, in Cairo, the son of Harold and Nellie Foster Masterson.
He married Sheryl Grace on March 2, 1970.
Mr. Masterson served in the U.S. Army in the 1st Infantry Division. He served three years in Vietnam.
He worked as a pipe fitter out of Local 360 for 30 years.
He had a passion for hunting. He ran Grace’s Hunting Club for over 30 years. He was a very loving dad and grandfather and he never met a stranger.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sheryl; daughter Autumn (Darin) Pettit; grandchildren Scout and Cooper; brother Jesse Masterson; sisters Thelma Harvell, Ida Britt, Sharon English and Jeanne Hoffman; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by one brother, Bruce Masterson.
Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at the Olive Branch Cemetery, with Jeanne Hoffman officiating.
Memorials can be made to the Olive Branch Cemetery.
