Kitty Jean Carr

Kitty Jean Carr, 79, of Cairo, died at 1:14 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

She was born on April 23, 1943, in Cairo, the daughter of Aubrey and Hazel Laws Sullivan.

She worked for Walmart in Anna.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Michael J. Sullivan; and by brothers, James and Aubrey “Bunky” Sullivan.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Susan Grigsby; daughters and sons-in-law Kimberly and Thomas Glaab and Donna and Jerry Nicholson; former husband Joe Carr; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
