Larry Stout, 72, of Anna, died Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
He was born on Feb. 28, 1948, in Peoria. He was the son of Billy G. and Maye Alene Haire Stout.
Mr. Stout is survived by his three daughters, Stephanie (Donovan) Davis of Oak Harbor, Wash., Stacy (Ryan) Warner of Anacortes, Wash., and Amy (Billy) Abernathy of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Loren Davis, Cameron Aguirre, and Logan and Blake Abernathy; a sister, Susan Crawford of Lick Creek; brothers John M. Stout of Lick Creek, Richard (Mary Ann) Stout of Anna, Bill Jr. (Pam) Stout of Anna and Terry (Lynn) Hill of Madison, Wis.; a sister-in-law, Joyce Stout of Anna; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by a brother, Jimmy Stout.
He served in the U.S. Navy and served as a data analyst until his retirement. During his career he served during Vietnam and Desert Storm.
He enjoyed restoring antique Ford Broncos in his past time. He was an avid New York Yankees baseball fan and liked listening to Elvis music. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren play sports.
Private graveside services will be held for the immediate family. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Veterans Home in Anna.
