Margie Williams

Margie Williams, age 90 of Tamms, Ill., passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025.

She was born on July 28, 1935 to Hubert and Dot (Latamondeer) Merryman in Dorena, Mo.

Margie was a homemaker and spent many years volunteering her time and love at both hospitals in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Survivors include her children, Steve Williams, Jeff Williams, and Shelly (Bob) Britt; 11 grandchildren, Dena Blakemore, Bobbi Jo Clubbs, Brandy Renshaw, David Williams, Jeremy Britt, Kayla Williams, Daniel Williams, Robbie Britt, Casey Williams, Cheyenne Williams, and Brandon Williams; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Annie Rice.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Tim Williams; four sisters; and one brother.

A Graveside Service was held on Thursday, Nov. 6, with Rev. Brent Gordon officiating at Richwood Cemetery in Tamms with interment following the service.

Crain Funeral Home in Tamms is in charge of arrangements.
