Mary M. Karraker

Mary M. Karraker, 97, of Anna, died Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 8:24 a.m. at Hillview Healthcare in Vienna.

She was born on Sept. 30, 1925, in Dongola, the daughter of Roy G. and Pearl Porterfield Hileman. 

On April 16, 1960, she married Ervin E. Karraker. He preceded her in death on Sept. 14, 2004.

In her working years, she worked in Harrisburg as a retail store clerk for IKT auto supply. In her spare time, she loved to quilt and attending church at Anna Church of Christ.

Survivors include her brother, Roy D. Hileman, and other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Anita Ray, and a brother, Donald Hileman.

Funeral services for Mary Karraker were Wednesday, May 3, at 2 p.m. at Crain Funeral Home in Anna.

Interment followed the funeral services at Christian Chapel Cemetery in Dongola.
