Michael Larry Kerr
Michael Larry Kerr, 71, of Marion, and formerly of Ullin, died at 12:09 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
He was born on April 21, 1945, in Anna, the son of Leo and Bonnie Pfaff Kerr.
Mr. Kerr served in the U.S. Air Force. After his service he worked as a mechanic for a car dealership. He loved playing his guitar and singing. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his son, Ketih (Priscilla) Kerr of Marion; a stepson, Jason (Cynthia) Milligan of Marion; granddaughters Shyann and Leah Kerr of Marion; grandson Joseph (Keranda) Rich of Marion; step-granddaughter Kathryn Dunn of Marion; sisters Barbara Corzine of Christopher, Florine Hornback of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Jeannie (Del) Byassee of Carson City, Nev.; a brother, Dr. Dean Kerr of Chino, Calif.; nephews Jim (Yolanda) Corzine of Christopher, Ethan Byassee of Carson City, Nev., Evan Byassee of Carson City, Nev., and Joey Hornback of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a niece, Samantha Byassee of Carson City, Nev.; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a niece, Rhonda Corzine; and a brother-in-law, Ted Hornback.
Funeral services for Mr. Kerr were Saturday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin, with Ronnie Gulley officiating. Interment was in Mr. Pisgah Cemetery. Military honors were accorded by area veterans and the Illinois National Guard.
