Nina Goines, 91, of Wetaug, died Saturday, March 28, 2020, at her home, with her family by her side.
She was born on Sept. 7, 1928, in Wetaug, the daughter of Louis and Cora Severs Gulley.
She was married on Nov. 17, 1947, to Wilborn Goines. He preceded her in death Dec. 31, 2005.
She was a member of the Wetaug Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Pat (Larry) Shaffer of Dongola, Suzie Goines and Jody (Donnie) Duckworth, all of Wetaug; a son, Brad (Tori) Goines of Jonesboro; a daughter-in-law, Karen Goines of Moultrie, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by sons Rodger Dale Goines and Eddie Goines, grandson Matthew, four sisters and four brothers.
Due to the pandemic, the family had their goodbyes on Wednesday, April 1, at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola. Graveside services followed at 3 p.m. at Christian Chapel Cemetery.
