Patricia ‘Pat’ Johnson
Patricia “Pat” Johnson, 82, of Jackson, Mo., died peacefully Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, in Cape Girardeau.
She was born on April 16, 1939, in Jonesboro, the daughter of Elijah Arthur and Lorena Hutchison Gibbs.
She and David L. Johnson were married on July 18, 1958, in Anna.
She was a graduate of Shawnee High School in Wolf Lake.
She was the office manager for the family businesses.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson, Mo.
Survivors include her husband, David L. Johnson of Jackson, Mo.; a daughter, Julie (Scott) Cribbs of Gardners, Pa.; a brother, Norman (Kathryn) Gibbs of Cobden; sisters Sue (Steve) Eudy of Anna, Linda (Gary) Koch of Cape Girardeau, Lois Crites of Jackson, Mo., and Venita (Robert) Lingle of Anna; and a grandchild, Haleigh Cribbs of Gardners, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael Dean Johnson; a sister and brother-in-law, Dolores and John Yates; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Melinda Gibbs; and a brother-in-law, Jim Crites.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 24, at the First Baptist Church in Jackson, Mo., with the Revs. Troy Richards and Randy Riley officiating.
Entombment was in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
Memorials can be made to Southside Baptist Church in Fulton, Mo., for the Michael Dean Johnson Memorial Sports Complex or to the First Baptist Church in Jackson, Mo.
