Phillip Johnson, 73, of Cobden, and formerly of Kentucky, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, at Baptist Health in Paducah.
He was born on June 28, 1945, in Olive Branch, the son of Marshall and Mabel Dover Johnson.
He is survived by his children, Tracie Easterly, Phillip “Moe” (Nancy) Johnson and Dawn (Henry) Hand, all of Anna, eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ed Johnson of Paducah and Russell “Rusty” (Judy) Johnson of Jonesboro; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jack Johnson; a nephew, Russell “Hokie” Johnson; a sister-in-law, June Johnson; and other family members.
He loved to travel, going to the beach and spending time with his family.
Graveside memorial services were at noon Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Anna Cemetery, with Pastor Guy Johnson officiating. A celebration of life followed for family and friends.
