Rudolph ‘Rudy’ Jarrett
Rudolph “Rudy” Jarrett, 80, of Tamms, and formerly of Cutler, died at 1:51 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Mr. Jarrett was born on Feb. 5, 1940, in Cutler, a son of John and Wanda Eaton Jarrett.
He married Jennifer Nelson on Nov. 11, 1981. She survives.
Mr. Jarrett worked for over 30 years for Iron Worker’s Local 782 in Paducah.
He loved to cook and bake, especially pies, and enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting with friends at the Kozy Korner.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Jarrett of Tamms; three daughters, Caroline Jarrett, Barbara Vaughn and Diana Linville; three stepchildren, John (Melissa) McCrate, Leanne McCrate and Pamela (Tim) Albers; nine grandchildren, Shelby Albers, Alyssa Albers, Caleb Albers, Paul McCrate, Alec Vaughn, Austin Vaughn, Chynna Vaughn, Stacey Puckett and Christen Puckett-Stewart; two sisters, Shirley (Bill) Preston and Mary (Robbie) Chandler; one brother, Bill Jarrett; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by two sisters, Karen Holman and Geraldine “Jerry Ann” Guebert.
Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no services will be held.
Crain Funeral Home in Tamms was in charge of arrangements.
