Sharon Lee Probst

Sharon Lee Probst, daughter of the late Gerald and Betty Ritchie Coleman, was born on Aug. 8, 1951, in El Paso, Texas, and departed her life at her residence in East Cape Girardeau, surrounded by family, at the age of 71 years. 

On Feb. 17, 2017, she married Ronnie Probst in McClure. He survives. 

She also is survived by one stepson, Dale (Tina) Probst of Jackson, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Machelle (Jamey Chiles) Probst of McClure and Kristi (David) of Marquand, Mo.; one bonus daughter, Crystal Dillow of Olive Branch;   four  brothers: Jerry Coleman of Jackson, Mo., Garry (Amy) Coleman of Marquand, Mo., Freddy (Jannette) Coleman of Chaffee, Mo., and Larry (Shawna) Coleman of Marble Hill, Mo.; five sisters, Deborah Yount of Jackson, Mo., Katie (Albert) Blumenberg of Jackson, Mo., Wanda Dees of Jackson, Mo., Rosemary Cook of Fruitland, Mo., and Beth (Kevin) Werner of Jackson, Mo.: five grandchildren, Mandy Knapp, Brittany (Justin) Scott, Caleb (Chelsey) Gilford, Taylor Lubbers and Sarah Gilford; eight great-grandchildren; and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Tammy Gilford; and two sisters, Marsha and Ruby. 

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, Mo., with the Rev. John Ruedrich and the Rev. Steve Teague officiating. Burial followed in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
