Thomas Harold Keller

Thomas Harold Keller, 76, beloved husband, brother, father, son and grandfather, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. 

He was born on Jan. 3, 1948, in Anna, the son of Blanche C. Atherton Keller and Thomas Henry Keller.

Mr. Keller served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Southern Illinois Electrical Co-op in Dongola after years of dedicated service. 

He was an active member and elder of Christ Church of Cape Girardeau, where his faith and dedication left a lasting impact.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Ann Dillow Keller; his children, Thomas Gregory “Greg” Keller (Jennifer), Gretchen Keller Wendling (Jamie) and Jennifer Dawn Keller Osman (Shane); his sister, Janice Keller; and his cherished grandchildren, Wyatt Keller, Bryce Osman, Morgan Wendling, Gavin Osman and Avery Keller; along with several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Blanche and Thomas Keller; two sisters, Mary Lee Pass and Joann Ledbetter; and two brothers, Doal Keller and Bill Corzine.

In addition to his numerous accomplishments, Tom Keller, affectionately known to many as “Tom” or “Tommy,” most loved spending time with his beloved family and church family and especially enjoyed fishing and spending time on the water. 

He will be remembered for his kindness, devotion and unwavering faith. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services were at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Christ Church in Cape Girardeau, with Pastor Zack Strong and Pastor Val Treece officiating. 

Interment for Mr. Keller was Monday, May 6, at Mound City National Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to Christ Church.  Crain Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cape Girardeau was in charge of arrangements.
