Wilda Boner
Wilda Boner, 84, of Anna, died at 10:41 a.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
She was born on March 29, 1933, in Reynoldsville, the daughter of Sherman and Mary Virginia Reynolds Rogers.
She married William “Bill” Boner in September 1951.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherma Boner of Jonesboro; a son, Eric (Dea) Boner of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Jeromey (Amy) Sitton, Justin (Rachel) Bonner, Jeff (Celisha) Boner, Cody (Lesley) Boner and Landon Boner; six great-grandchildren, Maisie Sitton, Eli Sitton, Addison Bonner, Raelyn Bonner, Evie Boner and Gunner Boner; a niece, Becky Rogers of Anna; other relatives and many special friends at the Anna Vista Highrise.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William “Bill” Boner; a son, Jim Boner; a brother, Allen Rogers; a sister, Mary Randolph; and a nephew, Boo Randolph.
She worked as an over the road truck driver and as a school bus driver for Shawnee School District for many years.
Funeral services for Mrs. Boner were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment was in Casper Cemetery near Anna.
