Paul David Norris

Paul David Norris, 64, of Cairo died Friday morning at his home.

He was born in Thebes, the son of Henry P. and Addie Mae Bettis Norris.

Mr. Norris is survived by 10 brothers, Henry (Virginia) Norris of Vancouver, Wash., James (Gwen) Norris of Beula Vista, Ark., Ernest Norris of Anna, Lloyd Norris of Cairo, Richard Norris of Indianapolis, Ind., William Whitaker of Barlow, Ky., Charles Whitaker of Herrin, Clayton Whitaker of Cairo, Donnie (Michelle) Whitaker of Jackson, Mo., and Robert Whitaker; four sisters, Sharon Rocket of Salem, Frances (Dan) Busby of LaCenter, Ky., Sharon Whitaker of Herrin and Martha Whitaker; his nephew, Keith (Vanessa) Cooper of Paducah; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mr. Norris was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Violet Norris.

Visitation for Mr. Norris will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at Crain Funeral Home in Cairo. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating.  Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery in Mounds.
