Peach Fest parade planned

Planning is underway for the 2009 Cobden Peach Festival parade.

The parade will be sponsored by the Village of Cobden.

The event is set for 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8. The annual Cobden Peach Festival is scheduled Friday and Saturday, Aug. 7-8.

All types of entries are invited to be a part of the Peach Festival parade, including color guards, bands, floats, scout units, children's units, performing units, antique and custom vehicles, tractors and horse units.

Entry forms for the parade are available at Cobden Village Hall. Village hall is located at 112 E. Maple St. in Cobden. For more information, call 893-2425.
