Peach Festival queen pageant set in August

Young women in Union County are invited to be contestants in the 2009 Cobden Peach Festival pageant.

The pageant will be one of the highlights of this year's Peach Festival, which is planned Aug. 7-8 in Cobden.

The Peach Festival is sponsored by the Cobden Lions Club.

The queen pageant is open to young women ages 16 to 21 who are residents of Union County, have never been married and have not had a child.

The reigning queen is Jenna Harner of Anna.
