Ribbon cutting ceremony at Jonesboro City Hall

<p class="p1">A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Saturday morning to commemorate this year's opening of Jonesboro's new city hall building. State Rep. Terri Bryant, R-Murphysboro, was a special guest for the ceremony.</p><p class="p1">Jonesboro Mayor Ken Blandford cut the ribbon. The ribbon cutting was followed by an open house. Those on hand for the ceremony included current and former city officials, city employees and special guests.</p><p class="p1">Those present included William "Bill" Bowen Jr., Jimmy Watkins , Joyce Blandford, Paula Stairs, Beverly Boyd, Lance Meisenheimer, David Wilkins, Bart Hileman, Mike Stegle, Barbara Casper, Shelly Pender, Ken Blandford, State Rep. Terri Bryant, Greg George and Lindsey Sadler. Bill Bowen Jr.  oversaw management of the construction of the new city hall.  </p>
