River To River Residential plans grand opening of Anna facility

River to River Residential Corporation announces the grand opening of its newest supportive living facility, which is located in Union County.

The River to River Community of Anna is located at 151 Denny Dr. The facility is located in east Anna.

A grand opening celebration is planned from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18. A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for 1:30 p.m.

Gov. Pat Quinn is expected to make an appearance at the grand opening.

River to River Residential Corporation is opening its second supportive living facility in 2011. The River to River Community of Marion opened in March.

River to River Residential Corporation noted in a news release that the new Anna community "would not be possible without 1602 funding from the Illinois Housing Development Authority.

"The project would also not be possible without Governor Pat Quinn's support."

The new Anna community will provide affordable and private pay housing for seniors 65 and older and also will provide the area with permanent jobs.

An open house is planned all weekend to celebrate the grand opening of the Anna community.

Tours will be available from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 19-20.
