Ruby (Pankey) Warren

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">Ruby (Pankey) Warren, 91, of Ullin, formerly of Tamms, died early Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at her home at Cache Valley Arpartments.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">She was born on November 2, 1920 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri the daughter of Rev. R.H. and Esther (Ninswonger) Pankey.<span style=""> </span> She married Everett S. Warren on August 7, 1937.<span style=""> </span> He preceded her in death on October 24, 2001.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">She was a retired cook from Cairo School District and St. Mary’s Hospital in Cairo.<span style=""> </span> She was known as the Tamms Avon Lady. Ruby was a member of the Sandusky Pentecostal Church.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">She is survived by a daughter, Louise Harp of Tamms; 1 son-in-law, Rev. Gueary Clendening of Niceville, Florida; 3 grandchildren, Greg (Cathi) Harp, DeShawna (Clay) Rhode and Melody Steffens;6 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Bill Pankey of Grand Haven, MI.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">She is preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Linda Clendening in 2010, infant children, Judy Ann Warren in 1952, her son, Billy Jo Warren in 1950,<span style=""> </span> her son-in-law, Earl Harp in 2009, parents, brother, Bob Pankey.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 5-8PM at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">Services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 10:30AM at Crain Funeral Home with Rev. Clark Short and Rev. Gueary Clendening officiating.<span style=""> </span> Interment will follow in Mound City National Cemetery.</span></strong></p>
