Shawnee College notes deadline for graduation

With the fall semester well underway, Shawnee Community College students are busy with assignments and activities.

All students planning on graduating in December are reminded by the college that they must submit the application for graduation form on or before Thursday, Oct. 29.

Applications are available and can be picked up in the registrar’s office at the college’s main campus near Ullin.

The applications also can be downloaded from the college’s website at <a href="http://www.shawneecc.edu">www.shawneecc.edu</a>.

There is no fee to apply for graduation.

Degrees cannot be awarded in December unless the graduation application has been completed and submitted to the registrar’s office prior to Oct. 29.

Students must apply for graduation even if they do not plan to participate in the commencement ceremony next May.
