Shawnee registration underway
Registration for upcoming spring semester classes at Shawnee Community College is scheduled to continue through Thursday, Jan. 14.
Just a couple of weeks into the registration period, some classes are already full so students are encouraged by college officials to enroll early to ensure the classes they want are available.
Wednesday, Jan. 13, is the first day of instruction for the spring semester.
Students can register at the main campus for the spring semester during regular college hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
The college’s administrative offices, including extension centers, will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 23, through Friday, Jan. 1, for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
All campus offices are scheduled to reopen Monday, Jan. 4.
SCC enrollment management plan has several payment options.
Students must make financial arrangements to secure spots in classes and save their seat.
Payment options include securing financial aid such as scholarships, grant funding or through other funding agencies; self-pay through the online e-cashier; or pay in full at the bursar’s office with cash, check or credit card.
Students must secure all financial aid or personal payments by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 5, to remain enrolled in the spring semester.
All registration after 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, must be paid or financial aid secured within 24 hours or the student will be withdrawn from spring classes.
