Shawnee scores win over Joppa

Kaylee Boston scored 14  points to lead Shawnee to a 61-21 win over visiting Joppa in South Egyptian Conference high schoolgirls’ basketball Monday, Jan. 11.

Taylor Ellis scored 13 points, Jessie Reynolds 11, Taylor Loveless and Jordan Johnson 6 apiece, Ragan Brown 5 and Jonnie Ellet, April Kutek and Elena Houston 2 apiece.

Shawnee led 17-6 after one quarter and 33-10 at the half.

Shawnee improved to 6-5 overall and 1-0 in the SEC.
