SIEC schedules annual meeting of members

Southern Illinois Electric Cooperative plans to host its 70th annual meeting of members Thursday, Aug. 6.
The meeting will be this evening at Shawnee Community College near Ullin.
Registration is planned from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Entertainment will be presented by Ashley Hatfield of Anna from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
A queen pageant bathing suit competition is planned at 6:30 p.m.
At 7 p.m., there will be a business meeting, recognition of former co-op queens (from 1954 to 2008) and crowning of Miss Southern Illinois Electric Cooperative.
