Stinson Library celebrates 95 years

Stinson Memorial Public Library District celebrated the library's 95th anniversary Friday afternoon, Aug. 14. Stinson Memorial Library is located at 409 S. Main St. in Anna. Community members were invited to visit the main library building to see the wide range of services and materials which are available. Punch and cookies were served. Stinson Memorial Library was dedicated on Aug. 14, 1914. The landmark building which is the home of the library was designed by Walter Burley Griffin. The library features unique architecture, both inside and out.
