Student says thank you
To the editor,
Kon-nichiwa (hello). This is Natsuki Amari. I'm from Tokyo, Japan.
I have been a student at Anna-Jonesboro Community High School for the 2008-2009 school year.
I enjoyed living in Anna, and I also had fun going to other places in Southern Illinois and the United States.
I experienced a wonderful time for a year because of a lot of people's help.
I'm writing in order to express my appreciation for people who have helped me.
These include people at A-JCHS, Stinson Library, 4-H club, Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church, Southern Illinois Civic Orchestra and others.
A special thanks goes to Bruce, Jill and Elizabeth Bell, my host family, and thank you to "Uncle" Larry Bell for the Jamestown Road Scholarship.
I also appreciate people who have written articles about me. I was really surprised when I saw these in The Gazette-Democrat.
All of the people I've met and things I experienced here will help my life, and I will share my experiences with people in Japan.
Thank you again to everyone who helped me. I wish you all good luck.
Sayonara (goodbye), Natsuki Amari
