Three suspects wanted in string a Walmart thefts

<p class="p1">The Anna Police Department is reporting progress in an investigation which was recently broadcast to the public. The investigation is currently focusing on two persons of interest who are not from this area.

The Anna Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying three subjects, who were involved in an alleged theft, at the Anna Walmart Supercenter.
On Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 10:12 p.m., three subjects, two men and a woman, entered into the Anna Walmart Supercenter. While inside the store, as the woman was checking out at a register, one of the men allegedly opened a cash register drawer and removed cash from the register. The second man was standing in a position where the cashier couldn’t see the other male opening the register. The man who allegedly took the cash from the register, opened the drawer with a key. Anna Walmart is reporting a loss of approximately $1500. The alleged theft was captured on Walmart’s video surveillance system.
During this investigation, the Anna Police Department learned two other Walmart stores in the area reported a similar theft occurring on the same day. A Walmart in Princeton, Kentucky reported three subjects entered into their store and took cash from a drawer. This occurred at 6 p.m. The Princeton Walmart reported a loss of approximately $1000. The Walmart in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, reported three subjects entered into their store, at 9 p.m., and took money from a cash drawer. The Cape Girardeau Walmart reported a loss of approximately $1600.
The Anna Police Department investigated a similar incident on May 24, 2014. On that date, Walmart reported an approximate $2600 loss. After investigating both cases, it was determined one of the subjects was present during both alleged thefts. The subject who walked with a cane was present during both thefts. The Shelbyville, Illinois Walmart reported the same type theft on the same day on May 24, 2014.
