William H. Casey

    William H. Casey, 75, of Jonesboro, died at 8:45 a.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at his home in Jonesboro. He was born July 25, 1933, in Wolf Lake, the son of Jesse Glasco and Curtis Edith Land Casey.

    William is survived by his former wife, Virginia, four children, Bill and wife Connie Casey of Henderson, KY, Sharon Casey of Pana, IL, Simon Casey of Kingston Springs, TN, and Carolyn and husband Mark Foltz of Dongola; four step-children, Billy Lee of Norris City, IL, LaDonna and husband Brent Sims of Anna, Bobby Lee of Jonesboro, and Dorothy Thieke of Jonesboro; Gary Dawes of Anna, who was like a son to him; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Sharon Irene Casey.

William proudly served in the U.S. Army, was a member of the Jonesboro Masonic Lodge # 111 AF & AM as well as the Operating Engineers Local # 12 in California.

    According to his wishes, services and burial will be private in the Alto Pass Cemetery.
