William R. Sheeley

William Reed Sheeley, 68, of Camdenton, Mo., and formerly of Anna, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at his home.

He was born Feb. 16, 1942, the son of Glenn D. and Mary F. (Clutts) Sheeley.

He was a graduate of Anna-Jonesboro High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1960 to 1964. He earned bachelor and masters degrees from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He was retired after holding several management positions during his working career.

Survivors are his wife, Eileen (Stanton) Sheeley of Camdenton; daughters Angela Sheeley and Mary Ann Goodson; sons William Sheeley and Michael Sheeley, all of the St. Louis area; his mother, Mary F. Sheeley of Anna, and brothers John R. Sheeley of Michigan and Richard L. Sheeley of Anna.

A memorial service for William R. Sheeley will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, at First Christian Church in Anna, followed by military rites at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3455 in Anna.
