Winstead W. Morgan
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;">Mr. Winstead W. Morgan, age 86 of Jonesboro, died at 12:55 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 10, 1925 in Jonesboro, the son of Charles and Lela Frick Morgan. He was one of five children to Charles and Lela.</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;">Wince is survived by one brother, Paul (Luella) Morgan of Jonesboro; one sister, Hazel Proveaux of Cape Girardeau; nieces and nephews, Linda McCloud of Anna, Randy (Mary) Morgan of East Cape Girardeau, Mike (Karen) Morgan of Jonesboro, Van (Beth) Morgan of Jonesboro, Paula Morgan of Anna; great nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Edna McCloud and Delphia Morgan; and two brothers in law, Paul McCloud and Aldean Proveaux.</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;">Wince lived his life on the family farm, four miles west of Jonesboro. He has left behind many wonderful memories for his family and friends that knew him.</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;">Wince became blind after an accident when he was a small child. In his mid life he lost both of his parents within a year. He remained alone in the family home continuing to support himself on the small farm. He was a very independent man, to the point of owning his own truck so that others could drive it to where ever he needed or wanted to go.</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;">He loved to listen to the Cardinal’s game on the radio almost as much as the nephews and their friends enjoyed being on the farm with him. Morgan will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Randy Morgan officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the funeral hour on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.</span></strong></p>
