Writer concerned about health care issue

To the editor and people of Southern Illinois,

Citizens please read, get informed through all media resources. We all want good health care, but do we want the health care prepared behind closed doors, and being pushed through before the people know the good and bad items in it?

Do we want it to cost $2.3 trillion over the next 10 years?

Do we want to pay salaries for 110 new agencies and bureaucracies to be created in the federal government?

Do we want $500 billion cut from Medicare and $170 billion from Medicare Advantage? Rationed care to seniors?

Abortion by demand paid by all our tax dollars, and private plans to pay a monthly fee for those abortions?

No conscience clouse protection for the health care providers who do not want to be required to perform abortions?

Counseling for the elderly for assisted suicide was on the agenda, I am not sure if it still is.

Our leaders in Washington need to hear from you immediately by phone if you disagree with the above.

Another concern: We that have paid into Social Security should not have it cut and given to people who have not. Let them work and pay into it to receive it.
